FWCWS approves 2027 plan for Capital Expenditures

The Friends of the World Cup of Wrestling Society (FWCWS) Board of Directors has approved a plan for 2027 Capital Expenditures. This enables the upgrade of existing equipment.

Equipment that will be included in this upgrade:

• Mats

• Computers & televisions

• A portable sauna

• + more

This ensures that FWCWS has the capacity to host future national and international events within Edmonton and the Alberta capital region.

This plan approval is dependent on receiving a $75,000 grant under the Government of Alberta's Community Initiative program, which was submitted at the end of August 2026.
